Thanks to Chris Weeks, I have picked up a rangefinder and popped in some black and white film in it. (hence the black and white photos in my gallery)

For example my Canon P I recently picked up is no Leica but many would agree with me that the Canon P was a better rangefinder than most of the Leica (screwmount) rangefinders of the time, (minus the lens of course). My Canon P is here : [link]
Far as that Yashica goes, I'm not 100% sure, but make sure it has fresh batteries or try to obtain a fresher battery. If its the same battery I'm thinking of, it will run you about 20 to 30$ for the battery. Aside from the outdated expensive battery, the electro were nice cameras, I just prefer cameras I can shoot with or without a battery.
chris weeks gave me the bug! i'm getting a yashica, after going thought the progression of thinking leica, no, zeiss, no, yashica, affordable
